  Putting a request in for an inoperable chiller at the beginning of winter is an unusual request. Symptoms: Placing the BesTech air conditioning unit to 'cool' resulted in my apartment heating up. Initially the maintenance team mistook my request for a request to fix my heater since it was the beginning of winter and several such requests were received around the same time. After confirming that the chiller was still inoperable by attempting to cool my apartment to 70 F from 73 F with the result of a rise to 74 F, I placed a negative review of the maintenance attempt. The following Monday I left town in the morning to spend Christmas with family members. I left the AC switch in the off position and returned Tuesday around 1100 to 58 F. The maintenance lead showed up to my apartment less than an hour later. I explained the issue to him, he explained the above information about the other requests to me. He said he would check back on Thursday. I tested the chiller that day after the temperature had risen to 63 F, the temperature continued to rise to 64 F. On Wednesday, the required maintenance was performed. Due to the fact that it is winter, I have only tested the system once since Wednesday's maintenance. I selected 'cool' while at 63 F and expectantly the apartment temperature dropped to 62 F. Thank you, Brittany Downs personnel.
